  18.           +o When locking graphics to video (frame lock) set the
  19.             timing on the video device before using setmon to
  20.             change the graphics timing table. If the video device
  21.             timing is changed after the timing table is changed,
  22.             the X-server will hang and must be reset.

  26.           +o When running video applications that use the screen
  27.             node on systems that contain multiple graphics boards,
  28.             the screen contents sent by the screen node will be
  29.             that of the graphics board that is connected to the
  30.             OCTANE Personal Video board, regardless of which
  31.             graphics system the application is started on. In order
  32.             to determine which graphics board is connected to the
  33.             OCTANE Personal Video board, use the gfxinfo(1G)
  34.             command.

  38.           +o The inputs to OCTANE Personal Video should not be
  39.             disconnected while they are being displayed on the
  40.             screen by applications such as Videoin.

  42.             If the inputs are disconnected, subsequent screen-to-
  43.             video applications may perform unreliably, sending /
  44.             displaying corrupt video. To remedy this condition,
  45.             kill and restart the video daemon (videod). This will
  46.             re-initialize the OCTANE Personal Video device to a
  47.             default state.
